Superb villa in a magnificent region
The accommodation is spacious, very clean and the hosts are very accessible and responsive
All the equipment offered is of excellent quality, the kitchen in particular
The swimming pool is beautiful and secure

Luxury and tranquility in the heart of the Basque country
We spent 5 fantastic days with friends (4 couples) in this magnificent residence with top-of-the-range services, offering everyone their privacy, a large comfortable living room to meet up with and cuisine worthy of a starred chef. The place is magical, 2 steps from Saint-Jean Pied de Port and also ideal for hiking. Swimming pool, bowling alley, plancha and barbecue complete this little corner of paradise. We would like to thank Carole and Jean-Pierre for their warm welcome and their good addresses.

The house is really superb, the equipment at the top and above all the environment (the house is surrounded by trees) and ideally located for taking beautiful walks.

If you're looking for a place to relax and stay in a place where the owners really took the time to renovate the place with eye for detail, Paulen Pause is the place you need to go to.
With a state of the art kitchen, super clean bathrooms (very important :), and good beds, this place has it all.
You're also super close to any grocery stores you need.
So if you're looking for a place to relax, enjoy the view of the mountains with your family (or friends), this place is for you!

We had a superb stay, the villa is magnificent and very functional thanks in particular to the many very good quality equipment left at the disposal of the tenants (whether outside or in the kitchen)! Carole is very available, while remaining discreet and caring for her tenants, which makes the experience all the more pleasant! The absence of neighbors as well as the charm of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port will surely not make us hesitate very long before returning!

The house is very well laid out, the decoration is very tasteful. The bedding is of very good quality.
We enjoyed the garden with the heated swimming pool, the pétanque court.

(Avis d'origine) A weekend at Villa Paulen Pausa, a weekend in paradise. The huge garden surrounded by century-old trees and mountains is equipped with all the quality services: swimming pool, deckchairs, pétanque court, etc.
Inside the furniture, the beds, the bathrooms, everything has been chosen with top quality materials. The kitchen appliances are of a professional, even gourmet standard.
Carole and Jean Pierre are extremely friendly and always attentive.
Anyway, just booked my next stay!!

An end of week in the Villa Paulen Pausa, an end of week in el paraíso. El inmenso jardin rodeado de árboles centenarios y de montañas está dotado de all servicios de calidad: piscina, tumbonas, petanca etc.
In the interior, the furniture, camas, baños, todo ha sido elegido con materials de primera calidad. Los electrodomésticos de la cocina are of a professional level included gastronomic.
Carole y Jean Pierre his extremadamente amiables y siempre a la escucha.

After being received by Carole and Jean Pierre, we had a very very good weed kend at Paulen Pausa house. It is a house of character with very nice amenities, decorated with great taste. We appreciated the exterior with its beautiful terrace is a bowling alley and the beautiful heated swimming pool for an aperitif and the barbecue for the meal. We went shopping at the nearby Ventas d'Arneguy (Spain). then to digest a walk to St Jean Pied de Port, a town very well known for its ramparts, and especially on the way to St Jacques.We had a great weed kend we will be back Dany, Jean Marie
