Gorgeous !

Quiet location but very close to St Jean Pied de Port. House, garden, pool, equipment, supplies: everything was perfect and plentiful. Very spacious grounds, sun loungers, BBQ, pétanque court, ping-pong table... Nothing was missing for a wonderful family week. The only slight drawback was the somewhat high price, which could have deterred me from renting this property, but quality comes at a price, and the price is justified when everything is perfect. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay in this tastefully decorated house. The owners gave us a very warm welcome. Each room is thoughtfully furnished in a style that is both inviting and refined.

The appliances are impeccable, modern and perfectly functional, which greatly facilitated our daily life for a family vacation.

A real plus: all household linen (bed linen, bath and pool towels, tea towels, etc.) is provided, which is very much appreciated.

An unforgettable stay!

We had a simply perfect stay with friends (9 adults) in this magnificent house located a stone's throw from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm of the place: a spacious house, tastefully decorated, perfectly equipped, and ideally located for exploring the Basque Country.

Everything has been designed for comfort and conviviality: the rooms are comfortable and well laid out, the common areas are welcoming, and the kitchen is ultra-functional (ideal for cooking all together!).

The garden and swimming pool offer an idyllic setting to relax, share an aperitif or a good meal with a soothing view of the surrounding nature.

Special mention for the welcome and availability of Carole and her husband, who were remarkably kind and responsive.

Villa Paulen Pausa is located in Uhart-Cize, a unique and idyllic place where 3 generations had the joy of spending a week in complete tranquility.
I thank Carole and Jean-Pierre for their warm welcome, their kindness, and for their availability and responsiveness following a small problem with the coffee machine.
I would like to clarify that the product descriptions on their website are accurate; nothing is missing (bathroom: shampoo, shower gel) (kitchen: numerous ingredients are available for cooking and cleaning), toilet paper is sufficiently supplied for the stay).
Outdoors, a barbecue and griddle allow you to prepare delicious grilled food. After your meal, there's a pétanque court for a relaxing break, or you can take a dip in the heated pool and then sunbathe on a lounger.
I highly recommend Villa Paulen Pausa for a pleasant stay with family or friends.
The location of Villa Paulen Pausa allows for beautiful visits and walks in the region, and if you feel like going to Spain...

An idyllic setting, very friendly owners who are always available to help with any problem. The area is incredibly peaceful. The accommodation is very well-equipped, even surprisingly so 😊 (professional-grade equipment). The bedrooms are spacious. Everything is included (towels, pool, dishes) and of high quality to boot.
Saint Jean Pied de Port is a 15-minute walk away.
I highly recommend it.

Welcomed by very friendly owners in this magnificent property with very high quality interior and exterior amenities, we spent two excellent weeks as a family.
The site, in a rural setting, is magnificent, combining all the comforts and facilities allowing both a high-quality sedentary stay and the advantages of being close to St Jean Pied de Port, in a splendid region offering many opportunities for outings in typical villages and magnificent landscapes.
We will undoubtedly return to Paul's place to rest with pleasure.

A perfect stay in an ideal house for a holiday in a very beautiful region!

We had a wonderful stay in this magnificent, well-appointed, and very well-equipped villa close to the village. We received a very warm welcome from Carole and Jean-Pierre, the owners. The kitchen equipment is fantastic and very modern, and the house is spacious. There were six adults and two children in our party. The pool was between 28 and 30°C, which was very pleasant when the weather is a bit unpredictable in the Basque Country. My older children really enjoyed the pétanque court and the ping-pong table.
I recommend this rental for its amenities and location.
We will return if we have the opportunity.

Everything is perfect in this villa. After being welcomed by Carole and Jean-Pierre, we had a wonderful weekend at Maison Paulen Pausa. It's a charming house with excellent amenities, decorated with great taste. We enjoyed the exterior with its lovely terrace, pétanque court, and beautiful heated pool, perfect for an aperitif and a barbecue for dinner. We did our shopping at the nearby Arneguy (Spain) shops. Then, to digest our meal, we took a walk to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, a town famous for its ramparts, and especially for being on the Way of St. James.
